My diary is full, so I'm going to write lots of unimportant and unspectacular stuff here
...
I saw my good friend Mascha yesterday. We went to the library and sat there for hours talking. She complained about university a lot. Then we went for a walk round the park until I couldn't feel my toes anymore Started freezing over the weekend!
In the afternoon I came home and made pizza My best friend Sabrina called round, forever complaining about university (sounds familiar). We went into town to get some junk food at McDonalds. Then we went to a bar, sipping some Mojitos. Good god, they are expensive! At midnight we went to the cinema and saw the new Harry Potter. The film critic in me said I would have done a few things better
, but it was a nice film. The teachers were wonderful as always
I can understand the age restriction, though, some scenes are probably too much for young kids.
Sleeping long today And having a perfect breakfast. Reading the paper for hours.
And I may have found a way to trick the university system With my bad graduation marks I don't have much of a chance to enter one of the better unis. Social sciences are free of application in only 2 of maybe 50 existing universities. So, possibly I could sign up in one of these 2, and after half a year tell them: So long, I'm off to a better uni. Because in higher semesters I might not have to do an application at all.
Sounds complicated. Don't try to understand it
Lovely weekend!

Hello Susanne!
Good to hear that you had a lovely weekend. Mine wasn’t that good, I’m feeling a little awkward these days. Anyways, I won't annoy you with my neuroses.
We had frost here too. I removed the flowers and covered the beds with moss, fir spray and leaves. It even snowed a little, but most of the snow has melted again.
I could easily join in complaining about university... But I suppose I’d only repeat things that Mascha and Sabrina have already mentioned, so I’ll spare that for someone else.
I like your plan about fooling the universities. If there’s a chance that it will work out you should definitely go for it.
Lovely weekend!

Me again. I think the word "fir spray" is nonsense... What I was trying to say is "Reisig"... any idea what it's called in English?
Lovely weekend!

Twigs or brushwood possibly? Oh I'm forgetting all my vocabulary!
Ah, I have some neuroses too, if I stay at home for too long I get a kind of agoraphobia. when I talk to friends at the moment it's always: too much work, people are stupid, lectures are boring, food is bad, people are stupid, have to get up early, no time for sleep, people are stupid
Lovely weekend!

This is pretty much the same when you getting older - except when you say 'lectures' we say 'meetings'
Lovely weekend!

Oops, forgot to reply!
Fir twigs sounds good, I think I'll go for that one!
Do you have snow at the moment? I can't believe that it's only a an estimated two weeks ago that my flowers were still in bloom. Now everything is covered with lots of snow!
No time for sleep, that's true! It's a harsh world we're living in!
I wish I was a
... 18 hours sleep a day sounds really good!
Lovely weekend!

Heyho!
"Do you have snow at the moment?" Oh yes, we definately have! I like the first snow, I get excited like a dog ( strange metaphor) But the power supply failed! It wasn't so bad where I live, only on friday evening the lights were flickering. But not far from here...wait here's a picture http://www.tagesschau.de/aktuell/meldungen/0,1185,OID4987634_REF1,00.html I'm always amazed at how quickly the trains break down if one snowflake falls, and everything is chaos.
I mentioned Mascha, didn't I? She always looks down on us
and says: "Come with me to Minsk, I'll show you real winter. This isn't snow, if it were really *snowing* you couldn't walk in the streets, you couldn't even open the door"
And hi to Vix! I hope you're feeling better! So, you like hearing about my stuff? Not much to say at the moment. My Dad was in hospital today, he got some sort of operation on his right eye, but it was a routine thing for the doctors. He might be able to see without glasses now. He is ordered to rest this week, no reading, but watching lots of TV! Apparently this is good training for the eye??
Poor man, lying on the sofa watching football all the time, not having to work.
Lovely weekend!

Thanks, he is already well again it seems, at least well enough to complain I got him some audio-books from the library, that will keep him busy hopefully!
I just looked at the link you posted on your journal, Vix, I love the tree photography!
