oh we have an appointment booked for next saturday to see a licensed therapist/social worker for G.

Unfortunately it isn't a family counselor which is what we wanted, after we all go to see the above then G gets to go by himself to talk - which might be a good thing...I dunno....still...I think, well know, that Geo really wants to talk stuff out with a therapist too, he's also mentally berating himself over the *what if* questions..

I look back now - my 'children' are now coming up to 37 and 32 - and I think of all the things I did, with the best of motives, which I now know were not the best things to do, and which I wouldn't do now, but you do the best you can at the time. That's all you can do. And hope.

Incidentally, so far so good - mine turned out alright in spite of me! My first was a bit of a handful to say the least, and drove me to distraction. The second was easy going, well behaved (most of the time) and no trouble whatever.

You will look back on this in years to come and wonder what the fuss was about.

Hmm..different world...I suppose distances in the US are too big, so that primary schools can't always be in walking distance to home... You said that G is 7, didn't you Vix? If he was a year or two older, I would suggest that he goes to school by normal public transport, so there would be adults around that intimidate him. Not sure about that and 7 would be a bit young, too.

Sorry, no good advice available at the moment But best of luck that all goes well on the new special bus.
