That is my first posting, after I left some confused messages to randomly selected folks... and I am overwhelmed... guess it'll take a while to figure out how it works.
Hmm two day later I am not smarter than I was before... wandering about... aimlessly... lost...

It just takes a little bit of time.
As long as you are not deliberately offensive, you will not upset anybody if you post in the wrong place, or say something out of turn.
