The Longest January in History?

This month has dragged on and on. It has been cold, dark and often wet.
I can remember other Januaries when everything seemed a bit brighter.
Is this my imagination at work?

The Longest January in History?

According to localised time density readings over Ireland, January has in fact lasted for a total of 3,467 sun's shining and we're having fun hours ~ which is way more than an ordinary month. However, consider that 10 sun's shining and we're havin fun hours equates to about ten minutes in the office on Monday morning. It all depends how you measure time. Finally, though, January 1493 was the longest January in History, so your's is just the longest in living memory ~ it's all the fault of humans, and new scientific evidence shows it's all down to rain and miserable weather concentrations in the air where you live ~ so untill the weather gets better, you're stuck in a time bog.

A most satisfactory explanation.
We also have "Happy Hours" in Dublin pubs.
