Today I found out that there's a place in western Victoria called Patchewollock. smiley - biggrin Isn't that splendid? It's about 80km from Manangatang.

Yes, it's a pointless thread, I know, but I've nothing useful to say.

It's an interesting name, for sure! So is Manangatang, though, to be honest. smiley - smiley

I'd much rather hear something interesting than useful, any day.

dragonqueen - eternally free and forever untamed - insomniac extraordinaire - proprietrix of a bullwhip, badger button and (partly) of a thoroughly used sub with a purple collar. Matron of Honour.

In the wooden inlands of the somewhat southern part of the Far North there is a tiny little village called "Klumpen" which means "the lump".

They make nice goat cheese there however.

In Youkay there is a village called Great Rollwright, upon which a whole Ford Transit vanload of us descended with great whoops of delight one Sunday. I am proud to say i was the photographer as 12 hippies proudly rolled very right indeed under the signpost.
