Today I found out that there's a place in western Victoria called Patchewollock. Isn't that splendid? It's about 80km from Manangatang.
Yes, it's a pointless thread, I know, but I've nothing useful to say.

It's an interesting name, for sure! So is Manangatang, though, to be honest.
I'd much rather hear something interesting than useful, any day.

In the wooden inlands of the somewhat southern part of the Far North there is a tiny little village called "Klumpen" which means "the lump".
They make nice goat cheese there however.

My kind of place!
There's a Hell in Michigan. And I'm told that somewhere in North Carolina, in reasonable proximity to each other, are towns called Erect and Climax.

Oh and of course there's the village of Piddle Trenthide which lies on the River Flush. True story Dorset I think.

In Youkay there is a village called Great Rollwright, upon which a whole Ford Transit vanload of us descended with great whoops of delight one Sunday. I am proud to say i was the photographer as 12 hippies proudly rolled very right indeed under the signpost.

There's Dull, Ohio and Boring, Oregon. And there's a town in Kansas called Gas. Purgatory is in Maine.
And then, of course, you have the infamous Austrian town (I can't even link to it without the filther failing my post ).
