NONONONONO you're meant to hit them with a big stick and scream and yell when they disobey you and when they're good you are very nice, and give them sweets and cake and stuff. They soon learn that it's a lot nicer when they're good.

Besides, she just runs upto me and attaches herself like a limpit so its not as if i need to errr, hit her with a big stick or anything...

yes it is against the law, and that is exactly why we have such social problems nowadays.
