Just in case we forget when we had summer in 2005 it is Sunday 19th June and Friday and Saturday were nearly as hot!!

Wonderful, Websailor; exactly what i needed. I am feeling very down right now, seems the physical limitations outweigh the sentimental ones in my case; so this lot gives me a bit of hope.

I keep all the blinds drawn on the sunny side and it does make a differemce.

In South Africa and Zim we resorted to all sorts of tricks in order to keep the house cool.

Glad it worked for you too. Don't mind in the least about you quoting - sharing is part of the fun of this site. I have a thing about poems and quotes and collecting is much easier on the computer!!

It is so hot here I am melting. Visited my son today, who has a rabbit, and it too just wanted to laze about - sensible animal. Another one with a fur coat!
