Woke up this morning to a winter wonderland outside.
Seven inches of snow and the only blemish out there were the tracks of the deer going across the yard.
The start of school was delayed two hours which means that I wake up an hour earlier than normal. But it did provide me the opportunity to shovel the driveway before leaving for the office at my usual time.
I've been messing around with graphics on the website and we're finally happy with the snow alert display. Hopefully, I won't be needing it much more this year!

It's amazing that even though I only live a few miles away, we only had closer to 4 or 5 inches of snow from this storm.
Or are you still going by the "official" report? That was probably more than we had, especially if it was measured towards the southern end of Lancaster county.

Seven inches off my back deck.
But remember that the official reports from HIA are recorded less than 5 miles from my back deck!

I checked the radar several times during the day while it snowed.
It looks like almost everywhere got more snow than this part of the county did, because the major part of the storm went to the south of us, and a somewhat smaller section of storm went to the north, with it sort of spotty (if at all) in this area for about half the day. It wasn't until after noontime that it showed a solid section of precipitation in this area and continuing to head this way for a period of several hours.
I think I'm turning into a .
