The weather predictions were calling for 3-6 inches of snow, but instead we got mess of snow, ice, sleet, freezing rain, rain and slush which the weatherman likes to call 'wintry mix'.

There's no real measure of how much snow we received because it was all slush by the time in ended up on the ground.

We actually had about an inch of actual snow, maybe two.

I prefer to call "wintry mix" a "slopfall".

I've always leaned toward 'slushing'. As in:
Q: 'What's the weather - snowing, raining?'

A: 'Slushing.'

I like my weather to be decisive. None of this not being able to decide if it's rain or snow stuff.

Speaking of indecisive, have you seen the forecast for the next couple of days?

If you want a seriously panicked approach, check out the forecast on the Accuweather site - those guys must get kickbacks from the grocery stores for every gallon of milk and loaf of bread sold! smiley - laugh
