Got up at 4 am today to take my parents to the airport. They're off on a cruise for the next two weeks to points south and tropical.
The world is truly a different place at that hour - nobody is about except for a very few cars. It's kind of neat to be the only car on an entire span of highway. Or perhaps I'm just sleep-deprived?

HIA of course! Being proud Pennsylvanians we would never leave the state to leave the state
It was Route 283 southbound...

My experience of America is that you lot go to bed very early.

HIA? I've really only seen 283 relatively busy during "rush" hour. And for some reason the only international flights out of there are at ridiculously early hours.
Baltimore Beltway on the other hand... And the flights from BWI to Heathrow *always* leave at such a time that you need to travel that road right around rush hour.
Unless my geography is exceedingly faulty (which it could be, since I'm not originally from Pa ), Philadelphia is still in this state - Is there *ever* a time when the roads to PIA are deserted?
Key: Complain about this post
