...in the new year, and it's about time! first I FORGOT my 'puter, then forgot the modemcable, then my friend had to rearrange his 'puter right at Dez 30th and took AGES, and when at last I have everything ready my provider breaks down.... and I didn't even want to get off my h2g2-addiction

I missed a week of h2g2 over the holidays with a spotty ISP (they're fired) and when I finally get back to work, our server goes down with a virus and I miss you on here!

So did you have a good X-mas and Y2K?

I did, but now I'm paying for the time off with double the usual nasty workload. I haven't even had time to update the Observatory. And in the US we've got a lunar eclispe on Jan 20!

ain't it always like that? yes, my holidays were great even though I spent a lot of it in various cars and trains . I dragged my laptop 5 times through the country with lots of work to do, but just couldn't be bothered... I just got back to work and have been rushed with lots of stuff that is supposed to have been ready yesterday *sigh*.
I envy you - I'm always missung lunar eclipses...
hope 2 catch you online again sometime...
