well.....real watermellons are ok, i guess....
but if they're too cold then they hurt my teeth.
and they're always so messy to eat too. all drippy, and then they get all over your face........

yes, i agree... i shold go to polos more often.
of course the words 'more often' would usually mean that i would have had to be there once...... so lets just say i should go, period. and then we can move on to the more often part from there.

What's a jelly belly?
This made me laugh...
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Apr 3, 2005
its smaller than a regular jelly bean. and it comes in all sorts of different and interesting flavours...
i'd say its sort of close ish to bertie botts every flavoured beans. only it doesnt have all the disgusting ones, or the weird ones like tost, or grass...

We have gourmet jelly beans, I guess they're the same thing. I haven't had them for years, but I remember I always seemed to run out of the strawberry ones and the cream ones before pretty much everything else.

Does anyone else have Jelly Babies? I know the history behind them but not which countries they were released into.

Yeah we have them, or at least we have a version of them. I suspect we don't have the proper jelly babies 'coz they're real cheap and look more like thalidomide lolly babies.

I've never seen thalidomide lollies.

I'm glad.
Thalidomide is some kind of toxin or something; makes your skin melt.
There was some ruckus somewhere like central russia, sometime in like the seventies, when a town had a cloud of thalidomide gas go over it or past it or something, and various authorities said don't worry it's all okay or whatever, and from then on for ages all the babies that were born there were all deformed, like with an extra leg where an arm should be or whatever, cartoon styles. I'm not accurate on the details but from what I remember it was pretty grotty.
The cheap jelly babies are all kinda melted and look similar.

Wasn't a pain killer and they gave it to pregnant women. I know it made you deformed.
Like the Smilies with no legs or arms.
Or bodies.
And often heads.
