My perfect state, Its so unbelievably obvious.

Its a socialist state in the sense that all the neccessities are paid for by the government. Housing for everyone, free food (maybe needs to be coupons but you get the point), equal clothing oppurtunities.
BUT its a meritocracy in that people still have decent jobs so that they can buy the things they want such as tvs, computers, etc. And these are the things that taxes are placed on (every governtment needs an income of some kind).

Ok I know there are some flaws but idealy its a brilliant idea right.

actually it sounds like a good idea, roughly...
i mean its probably very easily corruped or something....
but it sounds very nice

Off the top of my head I don't know how it could be corrupted but I've only had time to think of the pros.

Well she was. For once she didn't make me spend christmas with everyone else, I was in my room or on the computer for most of the day and stayed up way after everyone else had gone to bed watching its a wonderful life.

hmm... fanily time.... ick. my mom made us sing a christmas carol around the breakfast table. but i drew the line at only sining one... i'm sure she picked the longest one though.

nice of her to let you be on your own for christmas. did you enjoy it?

smiling... well... its very hard to explain. i feel rather ambivilant about the movie. i have to be in the right mood to like it... and i havent been lately.... but if it snows tonight then i will go and watch it....

i guess you have to understand about her life as a kid. i think thats one of the reasons family time is so important to her.
its very very annoying... but she has other qualities that make up for it i suppose.
