I got accepted to the University of North Carolina in Ashville today...I'm going there for their meteorological program...well...technically their "Atmospheric Sciences" program...but still...

Haven't spoken to you since Hurricane Jeanne. My friends got back safely. Have things settled down now? My friend was told that there is a waiting list for roof repairs, and it would take ages in some places.
Will the University of North Carolina in Ashville put you out of reach of hurricanes or will you have some other natural "Act of God" to contend with
We have gale force winds here, though nothing to compare with yours, but it is still spooky, though the weather is quite mild.
Still, anything seems mild after seeing what happened in S.E. Asia. I thought your hurricane damage was bad enough but this beats all.

Well the hurricanes flooded Ashville...so I'm not entirely out of the way...but not really any winds will reach there...
