It can be a different world Miz...........but not everyone has that number of servants out there! We had a maid but she just came in daily to clean and do the washing. I wouldn't have bothered but you were doing someone out of a job and money if you didn't employ a maid...........we made sure we paid above average wages tho

I guess it's a case of what you're used to............if you'd grown up with all that, then you would think it was the norm wouldn't you?

Helen, when we're on holiday we always have our laundry done before we come home so we re not stuck with it when we get back, a couple of years ago when we were in Thailand instead of hotel doing it we took it to a little shop when we went to collect it it was in a big bag Rob was carrying this bag back to hotel and the Thai men were shouting to him that it was my job to do that not his, cheeky sods.

helen,,,as i said missys spoilt,,we buy her BAKERS COMPLETE food as shelikes it....last yr while we were away my dad said she was off it so he bought her tinned food,,,but wot she really wanted was food WE EAT !!,,,ie,wotever we/they were eating,,lol,,she loves a sandwhich !!!!!!!!!

Gary, Tilz tries that with the food. She has Iams but at tea time she waits for us to give her something of ours and we do like daft buggers.

Gary get this Tilz won't eat bacon only gammon, she loves savory rice and corn or peas. We just give her bits but my parents go to chippy and buy her a fish they spoil her more than we do.

I don't have a dog anymore, we lost our last one about 3 yrs ago, then my marriage went down the drain and I don't think it's fair to have another dog with the hours I work etc! But our dog would always rather eat what we were eating than her own food.........we never allowed it tho and food and treats were always strictly doggie ones............she lived to the ripe old age of 17 before we had to have her put to sleep
