Y'know what I like about that music video is the image of a room stacked full of memories behind a door painted with "Poison! Keep Out".

As for the benefits claims I know how much fun they are, and how smoothly they flow through the system.

Do have a GP and is he someone you trust? If so, then he's likely helped people with their DLA before and could help you get your form sorted.
I've tried doing those forms for myself and it's just not worth the stress. If I ever have to do one again, I'm taking it straight along to my GP which is what I should have done with the last one. But, I know I'm lucky in having a GP that treats me like an old friend and spends upto an hour chatting to me about nonsense like Star Trek...

I liked that about the video too.

I do have a very good GP, but he's always very pushed for time: if you book a double appointment, you get just under quarter of an hour with him. Also, I have a condition that doesn't fit the boxes, and I know a lot more about my CFS than he does ...and I'm a total control freak.

I found a really good site online that helps with filling it in, written by people who learned the hard way what to say and what not to say. But the amount of detail required does my head in. It's so intrusive and suspicious.
