Seriously though, I think it was a bad call with his birthday, Christmas, my birthday all happening so close together...there's too much drinking that needs to be done

not the easiest time of year to quit
I reckon those s who run our company deliberately chose just before Xmas to close the smoking room

Surely it wouldn't be good for business ??

who knows, I expect they were just saving money
1 room less to pay rent for and save a bit on cleaning costs too, but it was lousy timing

I mean with everyone so rushed and busy you'd think they'd be as nice to their people as possible, wouldn't you ?

they've really been p**sing people off the last few months
continually changing the criteria for bonuses for example, every month they seem to be different from before
then there was the debacle when Quality failed to assess half of the staff one month and we lost out

It's so screwy the way it works these days...business giving it to workers up the because there's so many people going through hard times...it's not right - it's not nice!!
