since Penarth is such a small place and everything is within about 10 minutes of my flat its not much of a problem for me
in my youth in Scotland I used to go out in a t-shirt in winter but since moving down south I've gone soft (ok, cold resistance is the only thing that was ever 'hard' about me)

Maybe you should move down here so you can wear t-shirts all winter and everyone will think you're tough ??
Of course, the daylight may burn you

if people think you're tough you only get in trouble when they find out you're not
sunlight, heat, spiders, ok for a visit but live there

Well I've never been in the unfortunate position of having anyone find out I wasn't tough
The girl I work with and the boy have their suspicions, as do a few of my nearest and dearest...but I think they stay on my good side to be safe
Sunlight, heat, spiders...when you put it like that I don't want to stay here either

I think sunlights quite common
don't the poles have really long days and nights
spend 6 months at 1 and 6 at the other and you'd have no sunlight at all
not much heat or spiders either

Aye but it'd probably wreak havoc on my knees
It's not too bad here...the city doesn't get too many spiders...and I'm getting better at avoiding the sunlight..I think...but you wouldn't guess from all the freckles

I get to stay indoors most of the daytime...and weekends...there's no such place as "outdoors" on the weekend
Out for a smoke, back in a little while

in fact if it wasn't for smoking and going to and from indoor places I'll bet you'd never go outside at all

I was talking about "outdoors" this morning with an Aussie...would you like me to share my views on "outdoors" with you ??

<< wouldn't worry too much...I partook in a few of these "outdoors" activities in my youth...they are terribly overrated...you get dirty, and bitten, and bruised...
...and really you can do all of that indoors
But there are some "outdoor" places...known as "beer gardens"...they are quiet nice...
...but just so you're not too disapponted...these beer gardens have neither trees growing beer, or waterfalls with beer...but they still are nice, if not as magical as I once believed >>
And that's pretty much all I have to say on the matter
