 I've just discovered the square root of minus one.

what is it?

I've forgotten.

how could you have forgotten it?
did it involve letters?

i can't remember. hold on.. remembering.. 42!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 42 is the square root of minus one!!!! (42 x 42 = 1764....) maybe not then.

i thought the squareroot of -1 was 1i
or something odd like that to confuse anyone who thought they understood the whole square root thing.

THEY say it's "i". but "i"x"i" does not equal -1.

do they even know what ixi is? some roman numeral maybe?

errmm... no that would be just "x" because ixi comes out as
"(10 - 1) + 1" which is a bit pointless really.

I think that the square root of -1 doesn't really exist. It's all a lie told to us to confuse us unduly and add more unnecessary letters into math. I think.

Oh the sqaure root of minus one does exist but it's only known by a select few people (see http://www.h2g2.com/P139105)

I might know it and I might be pretending not to, but as far as I know, I'm not. But if I knew the answer, would I know that I knew it?! Eh?! HEY?!
