Does anyone know how to make Outlook Express start functioning again once it's ground to a halt with no explanation? All I get when I try to launch my Email program at the moment is a message saying "Illegal Function Error" or something similar, whereupon the program shuts down. It's very frustrating not having Email... The browser works OK, but the mail is not being read.
Weather superlatively lovely - Autumn is a great time of year.
Illness besets me at the moment - sinuses are blocked again. This combined with the Email problem is making me feel very isolated.

I know nothing. I just thought I should clear that up
BUT maybe C knows... She is very smart about this sort of thing. You could ask her: http://www.h2g2.com/U25542
Meanwhile: Mmmm, the weather is beeeeyewdiful so why am I locked inside, huh? And me with my perfectly functioning sinuses and everything... Get better fella!

Hi bubster!
I'm glad to see that you've changed back to reality.
I got it to work, eventually, but only by doing it the old-fashioned way: re-installing Windows from scratch. Fairly annoying, but otherwise harmless, except that I seem to have lost Solitaire. Oh well: I was getting a little TOO good at that game, I think...!
I might go and ask C anyway - I would like to know how to deal with this sort of problem in a more convenient sort of way.
My sinuses have started to come back to normal, but everything else is falling apart. Details to come in a journal update.
Don't sweat the sunshine: it's still not hugely warm. I think we might be in for a shocker of a Winter - especially if what the Northerners went through last year is any guide!
How're things, otherwise?
Key: Complain about this post
