Besides... whoever said that grans had to be ancient, wear slippers and cardies, do nothing but sit and knit all day and couldn't enjoy themselves was lying... as you well know from Galaxy Babe.

That was entirely possible. What we should have done was made sure all the chairs were full, and then moved him.

Or if not, it would be easier to move him again if necessary. People who are standing are usually not as stable as people who are sitting
