*at the sound of whipping around, tentatively takes a step or two backwards* 
Has the idea of getting lots of people to contribute to one person's going to a meetup been put into practice? I'm sure that, especially for someone as lovely as saturnine, lots of people would chip in, especially since all that's involved is hotel/train money, rather than an airfare..
