Quite a challenge : having a conversation that only consists of quotes... If they are really obscure please include the author(s)...

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
I just can't stand it, I really can't stand it
Wait a minute !
Tomorrow, tomorrow I love you
tomorrow, I'm leaving on a jetplane
A reason to be cheerful Part III,
Cause I think I should be with you

Sitting in a chair
Wondering why my mind plays tricks
Nothing lasts forever
Romance has broke down
Take a look at me now
This bottle's my only friend
I'm still loving you
References: The Gathering, The Corrs, Guns 'n Roses, Phil Lynott, Phil Collins, Jon Bon Jovi, The Scorpions
btw, the 'tomorrow I love you' part was from 'Annie'

Nice try with "The Wizard of Oz", but "Tomorrow" is from the Movie "Annie" (or "Orphan Annie" in the Comics).

Hummm... that all you can do quotewise? Let's see for a love-poem... *g*
Is this the real life?
There's something strange going on tonight
She's a real woman-child
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
With pale blue eyes
And I won't get fooled again
Outside in the distance
I see horses
Leaving home
Queen, Wire, R.E.M., U2, The Velvet Underground, The Who, Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, The Beatles - my fave bands of all the time actually...
