I didn't realise until I came home last week just how much I dislike the place I live. It's ok when I'm there, the people are nice, the food's ok, it's just so....not home. I've been living there almost 6 months, and I still don't think of it as home. You always have to be 'on' - there's always someone watching, you never get any space unless you lock your door, in which case it's two metres by four where you're expected to do everything - I have a bed, a desk, a fridge and a beanbag, which leaves about 1 metre square of floor space.
And so now I have to go back there for another week, although I have to go the other side of Melbourne every night to help out with a play (a good 3 hour drive each way )...which means I won't be around much for a little while.
So have fun, I'll see you when I see you.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
