h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The walking holiday didn't quite work out as expected. We got to Avebury Stone Circle, the start of the Ridgeway walk, but what The Fish U43536 had assumed to be a sprain or twisted ankle was in fact a broken leg. Instead of walking 90 miles from Avebury, we successfully managed to walk around the Avebury Stone Circle and visited A&E.

Hopefully we'll actually walk the walk later this year...

He drove to A&E in Reading from Avebury, not knowing that it was a break and assuming it to be a sprain...

Hopefully it'll take place later in the year - although The Fish's wife is pregnant and she wouldn't want any walking to take place after the baby is born or in the later stages of pregnancy.

Have you got a permanent cast now, and have the kids and all your work colleagues written messages on it?

And have you built your shed?

It's a weird plastic plaster, covered with a bandage. So you can't really write on it.

The shed's half way there, just needs a roof, windows and a door...

And I bet they call that progress...

I've still not watched 'Prometheus' yet – I keep trying to persuade Sarah, but she's not interested. I might just watch it next time she goes swimming.
