There's still a bit of work to do on the Flake Entry, that I will do soon. (I'm only online for a few mins now)
I came across something I found quite interesting - the end of the King Size chocolate bar, I hadn't noticed they had disappeared from the shelves.

Any opinions on that being the topic of our next project, unless someone has different suggestions.

Hmmm I've started an Entry ~ 'The Rise and Fall of the 'King-Size' Chocolate Bar' (A13983834) I've not had time to do more research, if anyone has any input, suggestions or info, feel free to post them
I think it will be a short one, so we're still open to suggestions for another Entry

Brown Eyed Girl Posted Aug 28, 2006
I watched a news programme a couple of years back, and there was a girl of about 20 with type 2 diabetes. She blamed the fact that she ate 2 king sized snickerses per day. The rise in type 2 diabetes could be mentioned...
I think it's a great idea.

I'm still working on the one about montyzuma chocolates. Anyone who spots any please let me know.

I'll try to find some info on what you mentioned Brown eyed girl, and sigsfried, not seen your elusive montyzuma chocolates.
Researching can be fun, I've just been reading this, it's good for a has some info about when the king-size were launched, but other than that, it's utterpants.

It appears that Mars Snickers was used as an example of the negative aspect of King Size bars, not surprising as it weighed a whooping 104.9g, that's 3.7oz, while Cadbury's Crunchie King Size weighted 59g and Nestle's Maverick King Size weighed 80g.
During my research I've come across some interesting info on Snickers, and as it's on our list of Suggested Projects - 'Snickers - the chocolate bar formerly known as Marathon' I'd like to run with that one next, after the King Size Entry, is that okay with everyone?
it appears to be me making all the suggestions, I'm open to other suggestions, but it's just as I'm researching one subject, I come across info for another.

They have sort of been replaced by'Duo' bars. Two small size in one pack, which funnily enough is about the same size as a king size bar...

yep, the idea behind the Duo, which replaced the King Size, was to share it, or save one for ron (later-on) rather than scoff it all in one go, though I never had any of the king size bars, the standard was adequate.

Brown Eyed Girl, I can't find that news story you referred to, or anything similar, without proof I can't make claims like that, the companies would very likely sue the BBC. If you, or anyone else can find proof, I'll gladly use it, but without it, I can't.
I'm about to give the 'king-size' Entry a final check over then submit it to PR, and cross-fingers it'll be okay.

Not sure how many of you have read the thread on Alex's 'The Nestlé Boycott' which was hidden, and deemed as unsuitable by the Eds.

As a result of that, I'm postponing writing the Snickers Entry, and have come up with another idea - 'Cooking with Chocolate'.
This can include the different types of chocolate/cocoa in both solid and powder form, tips on how to use them and a few recipes. Any comments suggestions on this idea?

I started 'Cooking with Chocolate' in 'Word', I'll get back to it soon. I was waiting to see if anyone had any suggestins, or favourite recipes.
I've just written this A15987324 I came across it in a children's knowledge book. It's a very short Entry, don't think there's anymore I can add. The Entry's not realy about the second Boar War or Queen Victoria, it's just about the chocolate.
