Everyone who didn't come to the Alton Towers meet last weekend should go and stand in the corner with their head bowed, looking thoroughly miserable. I realise it would have to be a very big corner, but you get the idea.
I lost my Alton Towers virginity on Nemesis (which involves being strapped into a seat and then dangled from a rollercoaster track which you whizz around at great speed) and Air (which involves being strapped into a seat, flipped face downwards and *then* dangled from a rollercoaster track which you whizz around at great speed). The committed Airheads amongst us managed to ride Air twice within half an hour on Sunday morning, as most of Saturday's queueing public was presumably nursing hangovers from the sumptuous and decadent "apres-Air" parties I've just invented. 
Oh yes, and after the flume ride I'm afraid we were very, very wet.

Yes, I'm OK, I sustained a minor blow to the head . The car sustained rather more damage. The term "beyond economic repair" has been used. There's also a bill for a road sign that I managed to demolish along the way.
Bet you don't get *that* at Alton Towers!
