You see, I've been offered this great job in Covent Garden which is definitely more interesting than my current one. It does, however, involve a lot more work and therefore leaves little time for loafing around here.
Obviously I take the job, but it'll be hard to squeeze in the time for this sweet recreation. I'll manage. Somehow.

*hopping up and down with curiosity*
What job would that be?

Sadly, it's not THE JOB, but it's not a bad one. Contracts get signed in a couple of weeks when they've knocked out a job description. So, that leaves TWO WEEKS FOR ANYTHING INTERESTING TO HAPPEN, LIKE, SAY, A BETTER OFFER...
Besides, TDV couldn't afford me! *gloats smugly*

Yeah, that's what we've been telling him for ages! You need to get a modem, then download AIM and IRC, and then turn pasty white and have no social life to speak of and then your girl leaves you and then...
Wait! We've done this one before, haven't we?

Contracts were signed (as Nixon would probably have said), and I officially start on Oct 18th. I've built in a week off beforehand, so I can rack up my phone bill...
