Cosmicdudeman-Thingite Minister of Certain Substances, LFG Started conversation Apr 12, 2006
You know what? The fact that I'm in the states really gets annoying when I'm in a conversation. Most of the time that I'm on it's farly late in the UK.

I am from the UK and currently staying in the US.
Jet lag has been getting me up about 5.45am - 6.00am last few days but where I usually hail from, that's almost 11am and lunchtime!
By the time breakfast is sorted out, if I ring home it's early afternoon.
And if I go out somewhere and come back later in the afternoon it's pointless trying to talk to anyone at home - they've all gone to bed!
Time zones *are* weird. but it's kind of cool that h2g2 has researchers across so many times zones so people who otherwise would never normally talk to each other, do get a chance to.

P.S I like the design of your personal space. (of course, I'm terribly bias!) This is another index of images you can use to brighten up your corner of this site with using the GuideML code provided. C809

Actually, I haven't been sleeping too well, I'm still getting used to getting up for school.

If you're getting used to going to school hopefully someone else will do your tax return for you.

My mum normally does, and it isn't too difficult as I have never had a job.

The bleedin' fuzz took my license, and I don't want to have to rely on my mom to get to a job.

Well I ran a red light and hit someone, and the cop that showed up handled a scrape I got into in a parking lot earlier that year. So the bastard thought that my license needed to be revoked. Shit happens, most drivers don't really wake up until something like this happens. Unfortunately the p***k doesn't agree...

It was a 'play on words' cosmic.
You said 'prick', I said 'needle'.... like you may prick your finger with a needle. Remove a small splint of wood from your finger with a needle.
What is a little prick? It is something you get, perhaps, when you need to test your blood count.
