My wife returned from a trip to Australia yesterday with a DVD copy of The Olden Days and Bargearse in hand. Quite bizarrely, my VHS copy has disappeared - and I have no rational explanation for it. Did I lend it to someone and then suffer from a case of acute amnesia? Anyway - with the DVD available for research purposes, I should finally have the opportunity to get my 'The Old Days' - the TV Series articles finished and up for review/Editing. Yay!

I think the question you *should* be asking is why did the Mrs buy a DVD when you already owned it on VHS hmmmm
I'm gradually replacing my VHS tapes as and when I see the DVds on special offer, I've just ordered the three Jurassic Parks, my son watches them a lot and the tapes aren't gonna last much longer..I already replaced The Mummy and The Mummy Returns

My wife always does things like this 'for the greater good' - or something like that. In this instance, I have absolutely no idea where the VHS copy went...
