The birds are singing. Loudly. Pleasantly. I have to say that it really is lovely to hear, because birds in the UK are being threatening by the constant changes set in motion by the human population.
Rural birds are getting mighty confused by our shift in planting habits and advanced farming techniques. Meanwhile, urban birds seem to spend their time scavenging for food and territory.
I work on a site that is situated right next to a park, and the birds are making the most of the entertaining and rewarding habitat. I want to appreciate this now as much as possible, because in 10 years time things might be very different.
