The tale of my tooth

My lowar molar tooth is at it again. First of all it started breaking up involving an extensive filling-job; then it decayed so much that I needed a root canal (a thoroughly enjoyable experience); and last week, when I was in Manchester, the filling covering it made a bid for freedom.
For a while, I was able to fit it back in, but I was scrambled eggs a few days ago when it hid itself cleverly in the congealed mass and I swallowed it whole.
The dentist took one look at the massive caldera in my mouth, and announced that I needed a crown, a snip at only 800 euros.
My dentist is paying his mortgage on my one tooth alone.

If you want my advice go to a better dentist. Its very easy to go for the local dentist but not all dentist are good. I changed last year, I have APPALLING teeth. Loads of crowns and every tooth has some form of filling. I was examined by the Regional Dental Officer, who checks that dentists are doing a good job. He said he was only happy with three bits of dental work in my mouth and two were on the same tooth!
He recommended that ALL my crowns should be replaced and all my fillings redone. Luckily most of that work was done for free as we were getting free treatment last year. My teeth have never looked better after going to my new dentist.
Good luck.
Can I suggest prostitution to make up the money?!?

LOL! I doubt if I would ever make any money that way!

I am reading a book about some guys in NASA back in the sixties, and I came across an appropriate story. It seems that at one stage a guy had had a significant amount of dental work done and got a bridge put into his mouth. Then a few days later the bridge became loose and he swallowed it. Quick as a flash his boss announced that "he would pass that bridge when he comes to it"
