the 'bready' question
beetle, return of Started conversation Dec 2, 1999
How am i going to get to Miami? It is far away, and the airfare is prohibitively expensive. Greg doesn't want to drive, and the bus means 25 hours sitting in a greyhound. *ponders* Perhaps if i got into a box and mailed myself to Miami. It works in the movies.

beetle, dear, maybe you and I can work something out...I can take time off work, drive you to Miami, drive home, come back later and pick you up...how's that sound?

Like a lot of driving. Why don't you just stay, that way, you don't make two trips.

CrazyOne Posted Dec 3, 1999
I could still be convinced, you know. Just like I hope I might convince Miss Daisy here to go along.

Spartus Posted Dec 3, 1999
Wait wait wait--you still need convincing, Daisy? I'll bring the monkey, if it'll get you there.
I mean, he's not driving, for heaven's sakes, but he'll be there if...oh, skip it.

what you know as km Posted Dec 6, 1999
No she isn't. You imagined her, Ant.
beetle... here's my plan... I'll send a fax request to you, and then you can fax yourself to me, and take the train to the airport with me. Make the trip a hell of a lot shorter.
If anyone else would like to be faxed in, please let me know, but space is reserved as it is in fact a toll call.
