Oh happy day!
I've just finished collecting vouchers for the latest giveaway offer in the usual daily rag. Fifteen vouchers and seven sqid will return as fifteen old war films on DVD.
Most of them I've already seen, at least once. Several of them I haven't though including a couple of the wartime propaganda type ones. One of them I've even had a hand in, but never went looking for a copy.
This may mean that I won't be around h2 for a while while I catchup.
Oh bliss.

Have they just arrived? Or are they the ones you've watched?

A Matter of Life and Death One of the very few Powell and Pressburger films not to be found on Netflix In fact there are a lot of Archers films in that list of yours, and several other good ones besides those. The 49th Parallel was scored by Ralph Vaughan Williams if I remember rightly.
You've got some damn fine watching ahead of you there

They've just arrived. I'm going to settle down with one of them tonight.
Gosho.
You're right. I was quite stunned when I read the list virtually for collecting a few coupons. There is only about half a dozen that I haven't seen before, at all. Most of the rest I've seen only once or a couple of times so I'll renew my acquaintance with them sometime soon. A couple of them I've seen over and over. Funnily enough A matter of Life and Death is one that's been duplicated from the original issue, so I've seen that a number of times.
If you can't get it there you can have this spare copy if it's any use in the US.

OK, I've got the details.
I've just been looking it out. You've got a bonus on it as well. I'd forgotten it's got 'The Heroes of Telemark' on the same disc.
I'll get it off as soon as I can and I'll let you know when it's on the way. I just hope it works on your gear.
