Yay - the head is starting to engage - by 1/4 at the moment. It is so brilliant as this means the baby is on its way. Of course it will still take as long as it is going to take but at least it is heading in the right direction.

The day before the baby comes you will feel depressed, fed up, and sure that the baby isn't coming. Even when you know that that feeling heralds the start of labour, you still feel convinced that it's never going to happen and you *know* that that's not why you're feeling that way.
Warn Doug that he might need to restrain you, because you'll be convinced then that there's no point in conserving your strength because you'll have plenty of time to rest later.
None of mine engaged properly until I was in labour, and it took me forever to dilate. Apparently it can make walking very uncomfortable for the last couple of weeks, but if it makes labour a few hours shorter it'll be worth it.
I'm actually envious. The last bit of pregnancy is so exciting, you lucky thing.

I am very excited and I do hope the baby doesn't go overdue because I am also very impatient. At the moment I am having lazy and energetic days. Today I was just so busy sewing curtains, cleaning the kitchen etc but earlier this week I was so tired I did nothing but sleep all day.
Are you stopping at three or planning a whole football team? It definitly sounds like you are a little broody there.

I'll stop short of a football team.
