Boyfriend is suspiciously quiet on e-mail this afternoon despite me e-mailing him asking what he's doing. Not getting any reply is very out of character for him and can only mean one of the following:
1)Demon has fallen over
2)Hotmail has eaten all of our mails again
3)Someone in the office has borrowed his machine so he can't log on to see his mails
4)He has left early in order to surprise me.

If it is the latter I may have to scream because the house is in a state and I have carefully planned my housework to be finished just before he gets here at his usual time of 21:30. He might be there when I get home and realise what a truly awful slob I am!

Please let it be 1, 2 or 3!!!!!!!!! so I can do my housework (although really I'd like it to be 4 so I can get to see him sooner!)

Necro (Patron Daemon of Patron Saints)

In my experience, demons*, and angels for that matter, as they are merely demons of the Christian god (it's all relative and technically the siritual and metaphysical denizens of a particular deity are all known as demons, or daemons, to give them their correct spelling-derivation: ancient Greek-daimon; malicious or mischevous spirit.), have a very good sense of balance, or terminal gravitas (or, in the case of fat daemons, gravity), so they are unlikely to fall over. However, the demon that runs North Tynside Education Authority's internet access (this is what I am currently using) must merely be posing as a demon, and is, in fact, a subservient mortal.

From a personal point of view, I can sympathise also with your point of view that love can spring from anywhere, provided that you don't actively seek it. My girlfriend and I met one year and one month ago to the day today (22/08/99-that's 08/22/99 to Americans, you foolish people) in Menorca. Neither of us were in the hunt, as t'were, but we're still going out with each other over the seemingly pointless distance of 138.4 miles (231.8km), simply because we are in love. And we are too, so don't mock. We're A-level students so it isn't as if we're pathetic little Year Nines who claim that 'Kate lvs Danny 4eva', only to break up after three days. Sad, isn't it?

*demons of the internet must be the creations of the self-styled demi-god that we love and revere (in his dreams), Bill Gates. That was written with sarcasm, by the way.

Anyway, all the best you pair in your future lives together, and I hope that you have wonderful children that take after you in every respect (God help us all...), and that Florence hasn't put you off ice cream completely.

Thanks for reading this, I realise that you probably want to get in all the pre-marital nookie you can before it becomes acceptable to Christian society, so I appreciate the time you have taken.

Thanks for the note - I quite enjoyed reading it! DD's aunt is very religious and nearly had a fit when she found out they were using Demon.net so he told her all the telephone numbers had to end in 666!

I'm sure we will be fine! We are neither of us spring chickens and have enough preious relationships and experience between us to know the difference between love, lust and infatuation and we know this is love. Florence was great and it won't put me off ice cream forever - In fact I think we amy polish off a tub of Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia at the weekend!

Love does spring from anywhere and you have to take it where you find it - we only get one stab at this life after all!
