If you don't have one particular interest in life that drives you much more than others, how do you choose what to do for a living?

I think you need a deck of cards to figure that out. Or a silver dollar at least.

I have several particular interests. One of them, automotive, has led to less chices later in life. It doesn't make me want to leave the field.
A problem i find is having too many interests. Some talent and no training. Little expirence. What does intelligence do for you when you haven't the required minimums?
Why is it that getting the job you want requires you to already have had the job? Pick up a newspaper and read a classified. Help wanted, need someone to do their dream job. Must have done dream job for 5 years previously for consideration. No one is willing to take the uneducated and train. Many humans aren't worth the capitol investment. The stock market is a greater gamble yet it is treated with more respect.
