Treacle Kitty
Khamsin Started conversation Jun 14, 2008
We got a phone call this afternoon to say our kitty was dead, we suspected as much as she would have been missing for 4 weeks tomorrow. Apparently she was under the lilac tree at the bottom of a garden about fifty metres from our own home.
I find it good to know that she isn't trapped in a shed slowly starving *cough* but I will miss her even though she drove me crazy at times.
I was fine about it till our other cat brushed past my legs, we got him a month after we got Treacle so they have always been together and he has changed since she went missing he has been so affectionate and loving and I just can't stop thinking "how do you tell a cat his big sister is dead" but for all I know he has seen her as he always leaves the garden in that direction and there are no roads to cross.

aww, but mice are sweet and fairly timid, birds panic and fly about ignoring whatever's in their way. Also you can get nasty fungal chest infections from birds, you tend to just get food poisoning from mice and then only if they get at food you plan on eating.
