your spelling don't make sense... color and then colorado whats the sense in that? it makes no sensesmiley - tongueout

smiley - erm metric system makes more sense and makes a scientists work easier... doing chem in imperial is too hard although I tend to you imperial for ppl...

I think its strange how ppl don't notice how there own country has say 100 accents and thats just englandsmiley - winkeye

Problem is with money that its just an imaginary substance if you think about it long enough... isn't there supposed to be enough food in the world, its just noone ever distributes it to the other countries and it ends up rotting? anyways....

the problem is so many ppl are set in there ways it could never work cos there are the few that must have power and go through life trying to get it...

Now I'm ranting

AK - fancy that!

Color is shorter than Colour.
really it *should* be culler. but that's more southern like.

Metric is completely ingeniously clever.
a meter is 1 10000000th of the distance from the equator to the north pole along the Prime Meridian. brillian. a foot is a roman measurement based on the length of some emperors foot. not hard to tell which is better.
we have basically 3 accents: northern and southern and New Yawk. well there's plenty more like ghetto and stuff, but those are the ones people think about.

Cat-Eyes: No..... why.... ?

We sorta have the same accent (And it's Australian!!! Like NO AMercians can pick it, they all think we're British!!) but like, differnt states say stuff differently. Like, castle and castle (carsel and cassle) and dance and dance (darnse and dannse) etc. The other weird thing is place names, like Newcastle (new carsel) and catlemaine (cassle main) smiley - rofl

But those bl**dy americans smiley - nahnah can't pick the difference between Australian and English and they're SERIOUSLY different!!!

smiley - rofl I totally don't get the imperial system, I mean, all these old people still use it and we just sit there like "And that is what in centimetres?"

Oh I agree about the metric system.

Well our views of British and Australian accents are realyl weird.
Considering our role-model British accent is Monty Python and Australian is the Crocodile Hunter. I think it would just be scary if a whole country talked like the him.

When I'm in L.A. everyone asks me, Are you English? or Are you Australian? or Are you South African?

It's between the three, like a lottery of Which accent do they think I have? It's odd, because I can tell the difference between at least South African and Australian quite well...

Funnily enough I'm not so good at placing regional dialects and accents in England, probably becuase I'm sheltered and all that...

There are a lot of different ones on the Fylde coast, you go from one end to the other and you will come accross 4 or 5 major accents
