I majored in a hobby: photography. It was part of the communications dept at my uni. I went to a small state school that excelled in three fields, Teaching, Communications (photo and RTF-Radio, Television and Film) and Criminal Justice. My opinion was always that if someone was going to this school for something else like business or computer science then they probably couldn't get into their school of choice SO STOP CALLING IT A HOBBY YOU UNDERACHIEVING MORON! 
(They really did have some easy entrance requirements.)
