h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It's christmas afternoon for me here and i finally have some time alone with a computer to come back here. When I first came on Hootoo was such a sight (site) for sore eyes! I know I havn't spent very much time here this year, I resolve to fix that. In fact perhaps I'll make it my new years resolution...that and cleaning my closet(I hate cleaning).
In many ways being away so long was worth it, and and many more was it was not. I missed all of you terribly, and now I have a million posts to catch up on. On the brighter side though I did wonderfully on my finals, much better than I expected. I got an A in english and philosophy, a B+ in biology and math, and I havn't got my mark back for anthropology yet. I have no idea how I managed to get a B+ in math, I'm not that good at it and I'm still waiting to be told they mixed up my mark with someone elses. To be entirely honest I only opened the textbook twice all semester and never did the homework. I did study very had though...perhaps studying like mad does pay off

I got what I wanted for christmas, and on top of it some dear chinese people who met me when i was about 3 sent me some funny looking shoes and piles of underwear. I don't know why underwear, I've never understood them sending that. On the other hand at least they've pretty much stopped sending shirts that imply that they think i'm at least as large as a sumo wrestler. I appreciate the though, no matter what it is.

I would have come back to Hootoo sooner but my family spent two days at a cabin with no tv or internet pretty much as soon as I'd finished my finals. It was nice though, I read A Christmas Carol and walked through a forest in the rain. I probably wouldn't have done those things if I'd had internet.

And never mind cleaning your closet. It might be more satisfying just to get a new one.

ah what i wouldnt give for a new closet! or just a second closet... theres no room in mine anymore! thats why i must clean it. no room left
i re-organized it yesterday, but i dont think its enough. i want to re-decorate my room!!

You seem to be doing that alot. My new wardrobe will be much smaller though but it has drawers so I save space having a chest of drawers.

hmm...you're right. i do seem to be doing alot. i dont know, i was feeling bored and i wanted to do something, so now it seems i have started a rather large project. but at least it makes me happy-ish

Ahh be careful, though, I began a major clearout a few months ago and my bedroom has been partially submurged in boxes ever since.

uh-oh.... i think it could be too late for me!!! i've started already! i can just see myself getting sucked into a black hole of sewing and organizing

I'm clearing out my drawres and getting rid of everything.

once my new bookshelf is built i'll have way more room in my closet. half of my closet seems taken up with stacks of books.

i dont think i have any clothes that i havent worn.... well i have three pairs of shoes...but they were given to me for christmas and they look just rediculous.

I have shoes I havent worn in ages. I dont know when I'll get the chance. But I think I'm gonna get those winkle pickers off Drac-in-a-box.

and as for my shoes...they're put them in a box and forget about them. theres nothing really wrong with them, they're just definately not my style.
