Get an exercise book and write down every time you use it and how many minutes. You can then work out how much the calls are costing.
It will be a chore but you need to know.

It can be very expensive, my first phone bill was a shock and as far as I know there is no unmetered deals for the set top box.

Hello.I have had my box for 18 months ,so I know about the phone bills. It's on BT lo-call. It's all local call rate . Cheaper in the evenings, It doesn't have a cheap package,but it's on FRiendsand Family ,which knocks a bit off. Not a lot though.I do Hava a hang-up button,so I can Type off-line. Just as well, as I'm not very fast. I mainly use the box for message-boards and surfing.Mostly 60s pop-group sites, I,m a big 60s music fan.I use it mainly late evening. As well as being cheaper, calls can't get through if I'm online in the day.I didn't know I could do anything like this here,until I saw the message on TalkWales about Friendly Garden. When I saw his page I thought I'd give it a try. From Pamela.
