ahh it is the tent sort, however I have not been camping for about 10 years and I do not have an airbed so things oculd be a little uncomfortable...

You should aim to be so drunk that you cant find your tent man.

Get with it a few nips of over pfroof rum is all you need to keep you warm/make you unaware f the morining due and hedgehogs crawling round your feet.

Well just got back what a quality weekend!

Didn't bother with an airbed Blicky, was fine sleeping on the floor pretty damn drunk as you say.

Sennen cove was firkin luvly, and Saturday and Sunday was blinding shirts off weather, I even got a bit sunburnt!

All in all a great time, now I am off to sleep for about 16 or so hours...

Crikey still tired now, and it was a bit of a hassle getting my tent dry but there you have it...

Now feeling really having had to go to work and planning another trip away ASAP.

I saw your name recorded here for posterity... "Hoping the cheap tent I have bought will keep out t'weather if it turns..."

So I had to pop in to ask if you got your tent from Lidl? My sister just bought 2 tents there that we're going to try out in the summer. I think we're going to the Isle Of Wight as it's so exotic over there!

I got it from Safeway, two man tent for £11.00, and it did the business. The weather was good on Saturday and Sunday but it rained like heck on Monday night and was blowing a gale I remained warmish and dry so pretty good really.

Have fun in the Isle of Wight, tis well nice if my memory serves me correctly...

Wow £11 is really cheap! and a bonus if it kpet you dry all night too!

I went to the Isle of Wight with my school when I was a kid and then again a few years ago with some mates. I really like it there! Cos you have to go on a ferry it feels like a foreign place

My sister plans on cycling all the way around it, carrying our tents and bags and stuff. Seems a bit intrepid to me but I'll give it a go!
