h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well a tough match on sunday... not helped by me thinking we were away and not bringing our stuff.

On top of that the ref didn't turn up so I had to do the whole game... nightmare. I got so much grief of both teams and ended up threatening to send of two players from both teams!

The marmaid took an early lead and were pretty dominant really through much of the match. Things were not helped by me not being able to manage; In the interests of impartiality I had to leave my goalkeeper in charge.

However he made an inspired substitution and put of midfielder Dan "The Golden Mullet" Billings up front; and he obliged with what to be fair seemed like quite an unlikely equaliser. The two teams seemed quite evenly matched thereafter and the game ended 1-1.

So once again we draw; unbeaten in the league in 2004 but we really need to start winning games if we are to clime away from the bottom of the table... I am still quite worried about finishing bottom.
