Well another battling performance in our recent run. Had Western Kings Wanderers today.
Despite being short of players we mnaged to start with 11 eleven (it was touch and go for a bit) and we managed to win the toss and play with the wind at our backs in the first half.
Things went well and thanks to the courtesy of one of their defenders (own goal) we went 1-0 up; and enjoyed quite a lot of dominance.
However unfortunately they came back at us in the second half as the wind picked up and managed to get an equaliser; they put us under the cosh for a bit but we stood trong and got a draw. Quite a good result really; but a bit disappointed not to win.
Despite this we are still unbeaten in the league in 2004 and things are looking up... if we were a bit more clinical in front of goal we could mayby think about climbing the table.
