Tacysa = Stacy... the girl who was talking on this thread a wee while ago. She was the one who taught me the expression... I've got a strong suspicion it's an american expression...

Is it? I think it's really a Southern dialect thing. Amazing the stuff you can come up with. A majority of the population pronounces hell, hail and hail, hell. They also pronounce pin, pen and pen, pin.

at least that would be...pretty? southern can go anywhere from whiny and annoying, to sssssslllllloooooowwwwwww and 'quaint'. ach, to be called a quaint little girl. I AM NOT LITTLE!!!! sorry, my insecurities peeking through, there.

I didn't say anything about the norwegian accent PITCHING... it's horrid, sounds like contemporary music, to be honest. Check out an interview with Thor Heyerdahl, and you'll see what I'm talking about...
