Well, the concert with DKO is over and done with... It went great.
There were some flaws in the playing, but broadly speaking, it went great...
Except...
Who the b***dy h**l moved my stickboard???
I was supposed to change sticks, and I had no more than two strokes in which to do it in... THIS resluted in my playing a VERY shortened finishing tremolo... Which sort of dampened the end of "The Bells".
Otherwise, the audience were quite happy, methinks...
And I'm glad to be done with it, it was fun!!!
Oh, and a thanks to Gedge for writing an entry on "The battle of Agincourt" (A446465), the information was of great use to us during today's performance (once again, I don't feel like explaining this now, I'll do it later, if anyone's interested (beats me why
))
