Confidence, moi?
Mullet Started conversation Dec 12, 2003
I have to start off by saying that usually I have a very low opinion of myself. That's why it comes as a surprise to me that in this last week or so I suddenly have confidence.
It's pretty hard to think everyone hates you when a member of the opposite sex has actually agreed to go to the cinema with you. And it's hard to consider yourself a bad bass player if you play like I did ten minutes ago. Suddenly I seem to be doing well in life and I have the confidence to do more!

Apologies to all of those people going through a rough time at the moment, there suddenly seem to be lots (maybe it's just comparitive).

everyone's good at something
everyone has a place in life (not the same one though)
everyone does good at somethings and bad at others
everyone has there off days and on days
anyway I'm glad you have your confidence back ... I keep losing mine over essays! e.g. 2:2 in news just!

Er, well, I didn't really know for sure what to do. At first geology, then physical geograohy, then environmental management, then water management, the straight geography, then I went through a 'hang this, how about marine biology as it's about the most improbable thing that I could do with the subjects I'm taking' phase and then randomly opened a prospectus on environmental science, found it was exactly what I wanted to do so stuck with it and I still find it great. By the structure of that sentence you can tell that I certainly wouldn't make an english student . However, do you enjoy media more? If so then you've obviously made the right choice.
It's back again now
Ra! LOTR! Not going until my birthday, but there will be icecream!!!

Icecream what flavour?
caught your attention with my opening did i?)
Anyway Lord of the rings was fantastic although in parts i felt like i was back with harry potter and the spider and a few camera shots needed clearing up as they were fuzzy (i guess they did it to create how the characters were feeling but it wasn't too pleasing to my eyes). According to one girl at one point there was even black streaks down the centre of the film and the ending could have been better put together instead of it being cut aways all the time. Anyway I hope I haven't spoilt the film too much for you. Overall the film was fantastic and as good as the other two films, it is a must see with parts to laugh at, cry at (in the case of my baby of a bf) and stunning images.
As for my course I enjoy both media and english, I only have one english module this year so its hard to say whether i really am on the right tracks or not. Ah well I'll just carry on with what i have.
Great to hear the internet is back (I'm starting to feel woozy so i will give up posting and go home soon anyway merry christmas and happy birthday (am i allowed to say it yet? ) love opti

Well, you can say happy birthday to both me and Mullet so I'll let you get away with it here. Still 2 days to go in my case and a few more in Mullet's though.
Probably prailine and cream. Or possibly mango sorbet. Or maybe Baileys. Or tiramissou. Or strawberries and cream......
2 days then I'll see for myself.
I've just answered everything in the wrong order haven't I?
