I am very suprised by the number of personal feelings that are introduced into the guide. A simple name calling is taken incredibly seriously on the internet while in words it would simply be blown off. I have already seen a few friendships ruined by only a few paragraphs. Keep in mind how these friendships were started. Many were simply people who enjoyed someone elses opinions and ideas. Nobody has any real expecations going into a friendship like this and they should not be shocked, or angry, when the person doesn't turn out to be the perfect friend.
With that said I would also like to compliment this community on its friendliness. Sure most message boards have "no flaming, trolling" rules but this one is one of the few that take it serioulsly. Every other message board that I have been on has been essentially one big flame war, and it is enjoyable to be in an environment where everything is taken seriously.
IF YOU READ ONE PART OF THIS READ NOW
Let off all of the insults you need right here. Get your anger out, give me your best shot. It can be inpersonal and fun as well.
I will start it off with a good old "you all suck at the internet"
now have at it

You're all so bloody sensitive! And repetitive! And few of you can spell, let alone punctuate! And I'm aware that I almost certainly spelt something here wrong as a result of Murphy's Law! Damn you!

Hah! And this is you, calling ME an damned idiotic punk kid? Izzat a mohekan? And a biker jacket with "Sex Pistols" written on the back? 'cos I think that you're the punk in this situation.

Just so you fools know, pudding, sounds like the dumbest idea ever, the name alone makes the whole thing a joke.

Researcher 185550 Posted Jul 14, 2003
PUDDING! What! The epitome of what this is about! Except, we'd rather not put it verbally, we're content to stay in self- dissatisfied (drunken) stupor.

Ha, just a cheap shot at whoever was foolish enough to enter my wonderful personal space.

Researcher 185550 Posted Jul 14, 2003
What? Have you descended to hypocrisy as well, slimeball? You INVITED us here.
Feelings
Researcher 185550 Posted Jul 14, 2003
Oh, okay, for a moment there I thought you were being /completely/ scummy.
Feelings
N1NJ4. Posted Jul 14, 2003
Only an over-sensitive grumpy-(compliment?) loser like you would think that
Feelings
Researcher 185550 Posted Jul 14, 2003
Loser? Well, at least I'm not afraid to not live up to society's expectations. I can just see you, trying to fit in, doing whatever the crowd is doing, but not quite managing really, and knowing that whatever, you'll never be like the rest, though you desperately want to.

*quotes line from strange childrens cartoon*
"I call'em as I see'em", and truthfully i have no idea as who you are so i will simply tell you that your intelligence is probably slightly below average --take that 3vil 0ne

Researcher 185550 Posted Jul 14, 2003
If I'm slightly below average you must have a room- temperature IQ.

Oho, N1NJ4. Why in the world did you start this post, anyway? You're just inviting people to bash you. Well, I think you are a very nice (though sarcastic) person with above average intelligence and an excellent diver. There.

ummm... nerk (new word taken from tacysa)
That is exactly what I did, invite people to bash me, and others, and whatever else they wanted to. Would you like me to give you a cookie for figuring that out. It's a lot of fun, so why don't you get involved?
wow, offering a cookie will never be the same, especially not to you.
and to you, toadkill.
Unlike some other people posting here I happened to rank above a houseplant on my IQ test.
As a matter of fact, I am not even sure if I have taken one.
And to steal a line from my favorite lucas arts adventure game...
You are uglier than a monkey in a negligee--if you can come up with the proper response for that one i will really be impressed

I OBJECT!!! i spell correctly even though i am strongly opposed to punctuating and capitalization. why exactly DID you invite us here? i think thats a bit odd, but just to go against my "overly friendly" personality, i might as well...vent. my biggest complaint is that some people NEVER answer their threads. i dont mean those who wait a week or two, but those who absolutely NEVER answer. it drives me up a literal wall.
btw, ninj4 you a nasty louse infested mountain man who eats the carcasses of decaying armadillos before going home and bathing in the excretions of a smashed hamster.
have a nice day everyone!

Hmmmmmmmmm, nerk is an interesting word. Duh. But, unlike you insinuated, my IQ is quite a bit higher than a houseplant, yet I still talk to you.
It's not in my nature to bash people, even if they deserve it. So there ya go. I usually enjoy talking with you, j03¿, I was really glad you subbed for ^^450n on Saturday, and no matter what G4r3n said, I think you really are a good diving instructor, just a little impatient, but you are being downright "silly", if you'll pardon the adolescent turn-of-phrase. Which I definitely am not. (silly or adolescent)
This post has no real purpose, however self-satisfying it must be to bash people. So therefore, though invited, I won't. Not that that will break your heart or anything, and I don't want a cookie, speaking of adolescent phrases. And it is incredibly difficult to impress you, came to that conclusion a long time ago.
So good luck to anyone who thinks they can.
Key: Complain about this post
