Niftiness. We got the Edited Guide, the Post, the AGG GAG and countless other bits. Edited guide gets real material with facts and whatnot and goes through a LONG editing process with sub eds etc.
AGG GAG is for more.. creative writing. Things that the edited guide doesn't want. (Brienonmics perhaps..)
The Post is basically our newspaper with serials columns and whatnot.
Whoami knows a lot more about the distinctions that I (she posted on an ACEing on your space..)
Anyhow, I think you should write it all. The more, the better.

And don't forget the social side of h2g2- see you made a bit into the FFFF. Don't wait for them to acknowledge you too much-jump in as you wish, people are quite friendly here (and intelligent to boot..wow!) and it may help to read The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy or know about the wonderfulness that is Adams
